“Florida Companies to Watch is honored to recognize another outstanding group of stage-two companies,” said Dr. Tom O’Neal, executive director of the Florida Economic Gardening Institute and associate vice president for the University of Central Florida’s Office of Research and Commercialization. This is our fourth year of celebrating second-stage business leaders throughout the state of Florida. The companies selected for the Florida Companies to Watch awards program stand out among their peers as companies that should be celebrated. In Florida, they account for 5 percent of the companies and nearly 30 percent of the jobs. These companies make a difference and we’re happy to offer the recognition they deserve.”

“We are honored to receive this prestigious recognition as we strive to continue to fuel job and
revenue growth in Florida as well as the rest of the country. We realize that making the Florida Companies to Watch list is a tremendous accomplishment and we are very proud,” said Synergy Settlement Services CEO, Jason Lazarus.

Florida Companies to Watch is unique because of its focus on second-stage companies and the wide-ranging industries they represent. The impact of these companies on Florida’s economy is immense, and this year’s honorees are examples of such companies in the state. ORLANDO, Fla. (June 2, 2014) – Multi Claimant Solutions (MCS), a joint venture between Synergy Settlement Services (SSS), a national settlement services company and Franco Signor LLC, a Medicare Secondary Payer compliance service provider announced today that it has been appointed by Order of the Honorable John F. Keenan, United States District Court Judge in the Southern District of New York as the Lien Resolution Administrator for the Fosamax Products Liability Litigation.

MCS offers a full spectrum of compliance and resolution services for the mass tort community and will help navigate the complexities involved with the Fosamax settlement with their extensive knowledge and expertise in processing mass tort drug cases. MCS is the first company to provide complete solutions for all those involved in a mass tort resolution and will utilize the company’s extensive suite of innovative solutions that are customized specifically for a client’s individual needs with a proven track record of maximizing results.

“We enjoy a great working relationship with government entities such as Medicare, Medicaid and the VA as well as many ERISA contractors. MCS maintains a boutique, hands-on approach and we have significant clinical resources at our disposal, including an exclusive relationship with Healthcare Solutions Inc., which includes a 3,000 physician network and 70 pharmacists on staff that we can leverage to create medical models. These resources are in addition to our clinical staff that is well versed in lien processing and resolution,” said Synergy Settlement Services CEO, Jason Lazarus.

MCS operates the largest Section 111 MMSEA reporting service in the country, which processes about 2 million records each month and is involved with both Federal and State legislative efforts regarding improving Medicare and Medicaid resolution and in developing and lobbying for The Strengthening Medicare and Repaying Taxpayers (SMART) Act.

“We don’t apply cookie cutter solutions to resolve the types of liens that occur in cases such as this. We take them personally and ensure that all liens are reviewed by clinicians for the most accurate result and are disputed and resolved to reflect the correct value. MCS is currently handling well over six thousand claims while maintaining all of these core principals. We will bring those same principals to the Fosamax settlement,” said Lazarus.
