Jennifer L. Yu, Esq., is a Director of Strategic Partnership with Synergy Settlement Services.  Jennifer helps clients in the Chicagoland area and throughout Illinois by providing expert consulting regarding difficult issues at settlement such as lien resolution, Medicare compliance, public benefit preservation, settlement planning techniques and tax deferral mechanisms for contingent legal fees.

Jennifer prides herself on providing cutting edge and innovative solutions to her clients in the legal space. Through networking and excellent customer service, she positions herself as a true partner to the firms she works with and builds a true understanding of each client’s needs.

Jennifer is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law. After practicing for several years, Jennifer changed her focus to legal sales.  As a passionate, client facing consultant she has worked in the Legal Services space for over 15 years.  Being part of the Synergy team allows Jennifer to combine two of her greatest passions, the law and helping others.

She is a Director and dedicated member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.  In 2018 she received the WBAI Service Award, and currently co-chairs and serves on several committees.  Outside of the WBAI, Jennifer contributes her time to networks designed to foster women in the law, children in need, her neighborhood, and school board.  She lives in Chicago with her husband, two children, and a new puppy.
