Douglas Smith is a Strategic Partnership Manager. In this role, he partners with personal injury attorneys to assist them in their goal of maximizing their clients’ results. He assists with everything from navigating Medicare compliance to lien resolution, settlement consulting, and government benefits preservation, all in an effort to maximize clients’ results after life-altering injuries.

In 2020, Douglas earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University. Prior to working with Synergy, Douglas worked as a Business Development Manager for a pharmaceutical testing company. He has also worked for USAA and KPMG, and like companies, holding positions in sales, management, and marketing for over 12 years.

Douglas hosts his own podcast on YouTube where he interviews both current and retired NFL players, holds sports debates, and much more. His favorite sports teams are the Miami Dolphins, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lighting, and the Tampa Bay Rays. Douglas is a family man and enjoys nature, church, trying new restaurants, and body surfing at the beach. He was born in Port Charlotte, Florida but he spent his childhood between Okinawa, England, Puerto Rico, Florida, California, Washington, and Rhode Island; however, he is now permanently in Orlando, where he calls home.

Douglas is most passionate about being successful in every aspect of life. He uses his passion for serving the needs of people along with his past experiences to drive maximum success for his clients. Your success is his success.
